Map showing Boat of GartenTravelling by car from the South (Edinburgh, Perth) on the A9, take a right turning off the A9 at the Grantown on Spey / Carrbridge junction (north of Aviemore). Follow the signs for Boat of Garten / Strathspey Steam Railway. On entering Boat of Garten, Moorfield House can be found in the centre of the village on the left hand side next to the church, and within walking distance to the golf course and steam railway.

Travelling by car from the North, (Inverness) on the A9, take a left turning off the A9 at the Carrbridge / Grantown on Spey junction. At Carrbridge follow signs for Boat of Garten / Strathspey Steam Railway (B9153). Once in Boat of Garten, Moorfield House can be found in the centre of the village, on the left hand side, next to the church.
