Golf at the Boat Golf Club
We are delighted to be able to offer guests staying at Moorfield House a £5.00 voucher towards green fees at the wonderful Boat of Garten Golf Course, each guest receives one voucher for each nights stay.

There is also the Aviemore and Cairngorms Golf Pass. This is available from any of the participating courses which are: Boat of Garten (weekdays only), Grantown on Spey, Newtonmore, Kingussie, Abernethy ( 9 hole ), Carrbridge ( 9 hole ) and Craggan (18 hole par 3 ) and Spey Valley. The cost is £20.00 per person and entitles you to a discount of 30% at each course. For further information visit www.visitaviemore.com .

Boat of Garten is home to one of the golfing challenges of the Highlands. ‘The Boat’, as it is fondly referred to, may not be one of the longest golf courses but will certainly be one of the most memorable and has stunning views of Cairngorm and the Grampian Mountain Range from many areas of the course with the mighty River Spey running along side.

Boat of Garten Golf Club has a character all of its’ own and is fast becoming a "must play" course for visitors from all around the world. Whilst St Andrews, Troon, Carnoustie and Royal Dornoch are automatically spoken about when playing Golf in Scotland, those who have found the Boat of Garten course have discovered a true gem in the Highlands.

At Moorfield House, many of our guests come to play golf. Some come to play ‘The Boat’ through recommendation, some on a return visit and some just happen upon it, but all have a truly memorable experience. We try to ensure that we contribute to this experience with the relaxed atmosphere of our house. Eight guests can be accommodated in separate beds, or 12 guests sharing. Tee times can be arranged for any course. Moorfield House has a secure facility to store your golf clubs and in the unlikely event of it raining (not as often as you would be led to believe!) a drying room is available.
